Our Year in Pictures 2015

2015 has been a crazy year for us with highlights including Jade meeting her idol and our first family camping holiday, and we've really enjoyed sharing it with you. So, for our last post of 2015, I thought I would post a little collection of our best bits, in picture form. January: Swallows and Amazons

Avoiding the obvious on Valentine's Day, expertly illustrated by my talented friend, Mrs Pixie Bee!

March: Low Cost Beauty Tips

Some weren't sure if this was an acceptable use, but I wrote about using beer as a hair softener!

April: Rembering Jack, The Final Chapter

In April, we showed you where all the money raised from our Rememberng Jack fundraiser went. An emotional end to an emotional story. 

May: Living with Asthma 

In May, Jade wrote about growing up as an Asthma sufferer and offered advice to parents on how to help their children cope with the illness. 

June: Camping Adventures

June was a very exciting month, as it featured our camping holiday with Roebeck Country Park. Only Phil had ever been camping before so it was a big adventure for everyone! 

July: Meeting Jacqueline Wilson

Here, Jade writes a heartfelt post about realising her lifelong dream to meet her idol, Jacqueline Wilson. 

August: Men Will Never Understand Women!

This month we featured a guest post from Phil on the subject of his confusions over the stranger habits of women! 

September: Dismaland

This Beef Wellington was my favourite recipe of the year! 

November: The Gunpowder Mills

A seasonal post for Guy Fawkes Night, featuring The Royal Gunpowder Mills at Waltham Abbey.

December: Zooropia Arial Assault Course

In December, L discovered a head for heights when he completed the 8 metre Zooropia course at Bristol Zoo Gardens. 

I could go on and on, but that's a potted year at The Parent Game. I really hope you've enjoyed our posts, there are lots more to come in 2016!
