Globenfeld Super Sport Watch Review

This week we received a rather lovely watch to review, from the Kitchen and Home Outlet, who sent us the Facial Spa a couple of weeks ago. We loved the quality of the Facial Spa, so were really interested to see if the watch would reflect the same standard. Again, it arrived very quickly and was packaged well. I think you can tell a lot about a product by the standard of the packaging and I was very impressed with the gift box containing the Super Sport Watch. It was sturdy and well made and suited the style of the watch, making it ideal as a gift purchase. The face is quite large, so it would most suit an adult, or older teenager.

The watch itself feels very robust and well made. It feels like it would last and this is supported by a five year warranty. I imagine the strap is a base metal, as it's not clear from the description, but it's a gorgeous steel grey colour, which compliments the black face perfectly. My husband has quite dainty wrists (sorry, dear!) and it was too big for him, but this means it will be big enough for a multitude of wrists. It's easy to adjust, you can do it yourself, or a local watch repairers can do it for you. Timpsons quoted us £10 for as many links removed as we needed. It feels like it would be comfortable to wear. The links have a certain quality to them and don't look like the typ that pinch the skin. It is especially useful to have a watch with the durability of a metal strap, without that unwanted painful aspect!

The watch is very easy to adjust and operate. I tested it on my husband, who is generally hopeless with instructions and he found them very easy to follow. It features time, date and alarm. It also has a light, a second hand, tachymeter and stopwatch. It is water resistant up to 30 metres, although I'm not sure how this differs from being waterproof. The numbers and markings on the dial are very easy to see, in a a contrasting white against the black face. This is especially helpful if you are longsighted. Overall we were both really impressed with it. We would be more than happy to give it to someone as a gift, and Phil is looking forward to wearing it, now I've finished taking photos of it. Now I'm off to find out what a tachymeter is!

We were gifted the Super Sport Watch for the purposes of this honest review.

This sports watch offers great value for money and would make an ideal gift.
