I did just want to add a thank you of my own, though. It's a massive thank you to every blogger, FB business owner, friend and stranger who got behind all the hair-brained schemes that helped us reach our total. From quiz nights to celebrity auctions, no one ever said; 'Are you sure about this?' and for that support I will always be grateful! Over to you, Lisa!
It's over and as expected it was full of emotion. On the morning I had a few tears and started getting nervous going back to the place I last gave my son his last kiss suddenly hit me luckily I had my mum on hand to give me some lovely words of advice.we were greeted by 3 lovely ladies holding a huge cheque when we arrived and after a brief chat headed up to the nicu ward to have some photos done with the cheque and nurses.they were very grateful for the money and assured me it will be a huge help and would let me know what it was spent on. It was bittersweet at that moment as I realised I was stood outside the room I lost my son in .but knowing because of him another baby has a better chance of survival made me remember why we were there. This wouldn't have been possible from the start to end without the wonderful Lucy Dorrington [Edit: *blush*] she did everything a perfect friend would do in the situation I was on and we had never met.she truly is an angel in disguise as are each and everyone who helped raise the £2000 from sharing, donating items/money, fundraising and being there for me you are all amazing.Thank you all so much for keeping baby Jack's memory alive I know he is very proud xx
