Back to School (A Bit Late!)
This was planned as a back to school post, to coincide with the end of the Summer Holidays. So I'm late, and before you get out the detention slip, allow me to explain. Contrary to the misleading profile picture you see before you, I don't really drink. And I can promise I was stone cold sober when I tripped, coming in from the garden, and splayed myself, inelegantly, across the living room carpet. I remained there, rug-like, for quite a while, until I concluded that I must've broken at least one bone. After spending seven hours in Frenchay Hospital having no less than nine X-rays, it turned out I'd broken two.
The radial head of my elbow and a small bone in my wrist. I'd also cracked two ribs (which, oddly, is the part that hurts the most!) and it has all meant that it has taken a couple of weeks to get to a point where I can type much. So that's my excuse and I apologise. However, back to the original point, which I'm very excited about; my first ever giveaway! The prize is provided by me, so I've picked the items personally, and hope you will like them. As you will see from the picture, I quite like The Muppets! To enter to win the pictured Back to School items, including a fabulous pink zebra lunchbag, please make your way through the rafflecopter doodah, if you would be so kind. Thank you and good luck! Ends 23rd September.

ReplyDeleteGood luck! :)
ReplyDeleteYou broke your bone twice? That is some skill that is! :)
ReplyDeleteLol, the nurses seemed quite impressed! :)
Delete:-) fab goodie bag! Having 4 kids its hard work. So the night before the two in comp i check their planners/timetables, sign, send in any money/make them pack p.e kit. I then pack up all their lunchboxes and put them in the fridge, then i lay out uniform by the side of their bed. All goes relatively smoothly and i get an extra 5 mins in bed lol
ReplyDeleteFour kids?! Crumbs, it's a good job you've got the hang of organising them! X
Deletelol tbh same as cariadon with 5 kiddies my place would be out of control without some organisation,i lay out thier school clothes, make sure homeworks done and sign anything, then lay the table with bowels and cereal, get pe kits packed and under buggy ready for a quick escape, school is only a 5 minute walk so i leave tidying till i get back as its quicker without all the kids underfoot anyway lol
ReplyDeletepacked lunch done the night before and all the breakfast bowls out ready
ReplyDeleteprepare everything the night before

ReplyDeleteI have entered. Preparation is the key to the smooth operation of the morning ship!
ReplyDeleteDon't do everything for them! Mine pack their own lunches, get their own breakfast. I made their sarnies, they do the rest.
ReplyDeletemake packed lunches the evening before to save time
ReplyDeletePrepare the packed lunch the evening before!
ReplyDeleteI make the kids breakfast in bed!!! They are always so cheery when they get up. A round of toast and a chocolate milk when they wake up and I find they are so cheerful and happy, makes the day start off much nicer! ;-)
