Like you, my husband and I aren't into "flash" things either, we just had a simple wedding ourselves, very simple and understated. And I never regretted it. I just wish I had done like you and bought a cheaper wedding dress! I wanted a simple, cheap dress, but some family members convinced me to spend more, because they felt that all brides should. So now I'm stuck with a dress that cost £575 that I only wore for a few hours! I definitely wish I had stuck to my guns and did as you did. And your dress is lovely btw! xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15847989699158322625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4939960062000410955.post-16497986264762829882015-09-19T12:07:04.776+01:002015-09-19T12:07:04.776+01:00Lovely post Lucy. Things would be so much cheaper if they did just as you did, things you wanted, not what is expected of them.<br />My 2nd wedding was cheap, not cos we couldn't afford it, but didn't see the point in spending all that money. Was back in the days of Ebay and bargains to be had, sadly no more as Ebay is so business like now. Emma Lowehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09128285766466248063noreply@blogger.com
