Highlights and Tealights! Partylite Candle Review and Giveaway

Tealight Candles
There is something infinitely comforting about lighting a candle. It doesn't seem to matter how many technological advances take place in lighting over the years, there is still nothing quite like the soft glow of a flickering candle. When the soft lighting is accompanied by a subtle aroma, the possibilities are endless. You can create all kinds of different atmospheres to suit your mood or situation; relaxing, sensual, uplifting, or even envoking special memories of Christmas or maybe a family holiday.

I was totally spoilt when I was sent some products from the new Autumn/Winter range at Partylite UK to review. They have spent over forty years specialising in candles and have become pretty expert at it. The scents infused within their candles are long lasting and authentic, not chemical or artificial like some I've tried. When I light a Partylite candle I can still smell it in the air the following day, which I think is really good value for money! This particular candle is part of the new Forbidden Fruits collection. The scent is called Fig Fatale and is a really sophisticated scent, hard to describe, but not traditionally fruity, it has hints of earthy tones as well, which makes it seem more... grown up somehow! It features the Glolite by Partylite double wick, which gives off considerably more light than a standard jar candle. I have really tried to demonstrate how powerful it is in the photograph, but I'm not sure I've done it justice! This candle would be very useful if you didn't have a lot of space, as you get a lot more light for your money. If you were packing for a weekend away, for example, this would be the perfect candle to take along to create that special atmosphere.

I am bad at photos but I've really tried hard to capture how beautiful this Warm Hearts Tealight Holder is. It's such an unusual design and is so eyecatching. A silver finish on glass, it has a frosty, wintry feel to it and would be equally at home on general display, or as part of a Christmas table. It looks even better with a candle in it, but I really struggled to get a good photo, so you will have to take my word for it! This piece is so modern, it would be perfect for a teenage girl's room, my daughter is really fond of it and she's nearly twenty!

I loved the Partylite products so much, I thought it was only fair to share and the lovely lady at Partylite has agreed to supply a Warm Hearts Tealight Holder and a pack of Iced Snowberries Tealights to one of you lucky people. Iced Snowberries Tealights are part of the winter fragrance range and are oh so deliciously berry-ish! To get your hands on this lovely prize, please make your way through the Rafflecopter thingy at the bottom of this post.
